Thomas E. Jernigan Jr.Tom Jernigan, Jr. is CEO of Blackridge Land Company. Tom also serves as the President of Marathon Corporation, a privately held investment management company based in Birmingham, Alabama.Tom joined Marathon Corporation in 1989 and served in multiple capacities with the company before being named President. He is involved in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations in and around the Birmingham area. In late 2013, Tom was elected as board member of the Alabama Wildlife Federation. Tom is a graduate of the University of Alabama.

Charles B. Pell, Jr.Chas Pell is Executive Vice President of BlackRidge Land Company. With over 24 years of experience in real estate, Chas began his career in commercial real estate, with extensive experience in the acquisition and disposition of office, multifamily, retail and mixed-use properties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas and Virginia. He also has expertise in site selection and acquisition, development, financial analysis, and asset management of commercial properties. In 2008, Chas combined his professional experience with his passion for the land by becoming an associate broker for a Birmingham based land brokerage company. His responsibilities included representing buyers and sellers of rural real estate, overseeing in-house development opportunities, and managing the company’s marketing program. Chas attended the University of Alabama, is a member of the Realtors Land Institute, and has been active in many outdoor and land related organizations, including Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Alabama Wildlife Federation. |
