I think we can all agree that it has been a very long, cold, and wet last couple of weeks. Check your weather app though, because for most of Alabama, Saturday and Sunday’s forecast is looking pretty darn good.  The spring-like weather will show up just in time for many young hunters to hit the woods with their older hunting partners for Youth Turkey Season 2014!

This weekend will give an opportunity for our Alabama youth hunters ages 16 and under that are accompanied by an unarmed licensed adult to get the first crack at turkeys this spring.  What a wonderful opportunity to get a young person in the woods and show them how great God’s creation truly is.  So even if you don’t have a youngster of your own, grab somebody else’s and take them to the woods this weekend and teach them a thing or two about talking turkey!
